The current issue of Montana Magazine -- the one with the fox on the cover -- features a really wonderful story by Beth Judy on Prairie Heritage Farm.

About the Farm

Prairie Heritage Farm is a diversified, certified organic farm near Great Falls, MT on the Fairfield Bench outside of Power. It's a family farm owned and operated by Jacob and Courtney Cowgill. We offer organic veggies in the Great Falls, Montana area and heritage and ancient grains across the country.

We grow:

organic vegetables (click here for CSA and farm share info),

ancient and heritage wheat (Farro and others), lentils
and a variety of seed crops.

Note: As of 2015, we are taking a break from raising heritage turkeys.
